Maren's Tip

Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

A skeletal Bokoblin that rises from the earth at night, animated by residual malice in the soil across Hyrule's fields and roads. Stalkoblins are the weakest nocturnal threat in TotK — their bones crumble after minimal damage. The only complexity is their reassembly mechanic: a separated Stalkoblin head bounces across the ground toward its body and reattaches if not immediately neutralized. They travel in the same groups as daytime Bokoblins, which transform into Stalkoblins at nightfall, creating sudden camp reinforcements that can surprise unprepared players.

Weakness

Any attack — knock off the head to prevent reassembly, then stomp or strike it before it reconnects

How to Beat Stalkoblin

Stalkoblins rise from the ground at night and dissolve at dawn. They are fragile but reassemble if the head is not destroyed after separation. A single strong attack detaches the skull — stomp it immediately. They occasionally dig up buried weapons before attacking, sometimes surfacing a buried treasure chest. Fire does not ignite undead — elemental arrows are wasted on Stalkoblins.
