Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
An elite Yiga Clan warrior wielding a powerful Eightfold Longblade, found in the Yiga Clan Hideout and as random overworld ambushes. They teleport behind Link for devastating backstab combos and can chain three heavy slashes in rapid succession. Dodge sideways when they charge for flurry rush openings. Drops include the Eightfold Longblade and the rare Duplex Bow — one of the best bows in TotK for mounted Lynel combat.

How to Beat Yiga Blademaster
More powerful than Footsoldiers. They wield a longblade and can teleport behind you. Dodge sideways when they charge to get a flurry rush. Bomb arrows interrupt their teleport attacks. In groups, prioritize them over Footsoldiers.
