Gadathor Shrine
Gadathor Shrine — Tight Construction
Location: Rimewise region Ability Required: Ultrahand Difficulty: Medium — block manipulation in constrained environments
Overview
Gadathor Shrine tests precision Ultrahand work. The chambers are intentionally narrow, with very little clearance around blocks and gates. Success depends on rotating and positioning objects accurately in tight corridors where there's almost no room for error.
Preparation
- Ultrahand required
- No combat
- Takes 8–10 minutes
- Camera control is important — tilt often to see clearance gaps
Walkthrough
Step 1: Narrow Entry Passage
- The first passage has a low ceiling with a heavy block suspended mid-air by a chain hook. The block partially fills the corridor.
- Use Ultrahand to detach the block from its hook by lifting upward — it will fall to the ground.
- Rotate the block 90 degrees so its shortest dimension faces the direction of travel, then slide it into the alcove on the left wall to clear the path.
Step 2: The Gate and Key Block
- A narrow gate blocks the second chamber. A thin rectangular key block is embedded in the floor nearby.
- Use Ultrahand to lift the key block straight up — it's snug and requires a near-vertical pull angle to extract without hitting the ceiling.
- Insert the key block horizontally into the gate slot at chest height. The gate slides open.
Step 3: Final Corridor Stacking
- The final corridor has a gap between two elevated platforms. The gap is slightly too wide to jump.
- Two blocks are available — one long, one cube. Stack the cube on the long block, then use Ultrahand to position the combined structure as a stepping platform spanning the gap.
- The cube gives you the height needed to step up onto the far platform. Precision matters — the far platform edge is only a few centimeters wide at the approach angle.

Tips
- Camera angle: Constantly tilt your camera to look at blocks from different angles. In tight spaces, the default view hides critical clearance gaps.
- Key block extraction: Pull straight up with Ultrahand — any sideways movement clips the block against the ceiling. The animation will stall if you're off-axis.
- Stepping platform position: The final stack needs to be placed with about one block-length overlapping onto your starting platform. Too far forward and the cube on top tips you into the gap.
- Chest: Behind the extracted key block's original slot, there is a small recess in the wall containing a chest. You'll need to peer into the hole with the camera to spot it.
Chest Summary
