Ikosin Shrine — Platform Stacking

Location: Necluda, Lurelin Village area Ability Required: Ultrahand, Ascend Difficulty: Hard — complex multi-platform stacking puzzle

Overview

Ikosin Shrine requires stacking multiple platforms in precise configurations to create paths and reach the altar. It's the most complex Necluda puzzle shrine — demanding careful spatial planning and precise Ultrahand control.

Preparation

  • Ascend required
  • No combat
  • Takes 12–18 minutes

Walkthrough

Room 1 — Vertical Stack

  1. Five platforms of different sizes are scattered on the floor. The altar access is on a ledge 10 meters up.
  2. Stack the platforms in descending size order against the wall (largest first, smallest on top) to create a stable pyramid staircase.
  3. Climb the pyramid and jump to the ledge. Or: use Ascend through the top platform when positioned correctly beneath the ledge.

Room 2 — Horizontal Arrangement

  1. The exit door requires pressing three pressure plates simultaneously — but you're only one person.
  2. Three platforms of exactly the right size to cover one plate each are available.
  3. Position each platform on one pressure plate simultaneously. The plates need to be covered at the same time (not sequentially — they have a timer reset).
  4. Solution: Cover plates 1 and 2 with platforms first, then quickly step on plate 3 yourself.

Room 3 — Combined Stack and Cross

  1. The altar platform is separated by a gap and elevated. No single platform spans the distance AND the height.
  2. Build a two-part structure: a tower on your side of the gap (platforms stacked to the right height) and a bridging platform connecting to the altar.
  3. Ascend through the bridge platform to emerge on the altar level.

Chest Summary

| # | Contents | Location | |---|----------|----------| | 1 | Diamond | Room 1 — on a narrow shelf above the starting area. Stack platforms high enough against the left wall to reach it before building your main staircase. |

Tips

  • Room 1 size order: Larger = more stable base. Start with the widest platform at the bottom. Placing a small platform first creates a wobbly top-heavy stack that collapses.
  • Room 2 plate timer: The plates reset after 4 seconds without weight. Cover all three within 4 seconds. Platforms 1 and 2 first (no rush), then sprint to plate 3 immediately.
  • Room 3 bridge attachment: Attach the bridge platform to the tower top using Ultrahand before raising the tower to final height. Attaching at full height is much harder.
  • Ascend through bridge platform: Position yourself on the bridge and use Ascend to pass through the flat bridge surface — you emerge directly at altar level.
  • Restart option: If your Room 3 structure is too unstable, leave the room and re-enter — all platforms reset to starting positions.
