Momosik Shrine
Momosik Shrine — Rauru's Blessing
A Rauru's Blessing shrine — no puzzle inside. The challenge is finding and reaching it.
Location
Located in the Akkala region, on a rocky clifftop plateau southeast of the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower. The shrine overlooks the eastern coastline where Akkala's rugged highlands drop toward the sea. Coordinates: 3496, 1769, 0193.
How to Reach
From Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower (Recommended)
- Activate the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower if you haven't already. It's the tall structure in central Akkala.
- Launch from the tower and glide southeast. The shrine sits on a prominent clifftop that's visible from the air.
- Aim for the orange glow — the shrine is accessible without fighting through any enemy camps.
From Ground Level
- Travel east from Akkala Citadel Ruins along the highland ridgeline.
- Head toward the coast and look for a rocky plateau rising above the surrounding terrain.
- Climb the cliff face using Ascend if the slope is too steep, or circle around to find a walkable incline.
Shrine Quest
Momosik Shrine does not have a separate shrine quest trigger. It rests exposed on the clifftop and is available immediately upon approach — the reward here is for reaching this remote corner of Akkala.
Inside the Shrine
Walk directly to the altar and collect your Light of Blessing. There are no enemies, puzzles, or locked doors inside.
Rewards
- Light of Blessing — combine four at any Goddess Statue for a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel
Chest Summary
| # | Contents | Location | |---|----------|----------| | 1 | Opal | Inside the shrine, on the left side of the main chamber before the altar |
Rauru's Blessing shrines always contain one treasure chest with a gem or useful item as compensation for the external challenge.

Tips
- Stamina management: Akkala is one of the more remote regions; bring stamina-restoring food before exploring this area extensively.
- Shrine circuit: If you're working through the Akkala shrines, pair this with Jochi-ihiga Shrine and Domizuin Shrine nearby for an efficient sweep of eastern Akkala.
- Korok spotting: The clifftop offers excellent panoramic views for spotting Korok Seed puzzles in the surrounding tree clusters and rock formations.
- Cave exploration: Check the coastline below for Brightbloom Seeds in the cave openings carved into the cliff base — these caves often contain rare ore deposits.
- Paraglider approach: If gliding from Ulri Mountain Tower, angle slightly south to catch the updraft along the cliff face, saving stamina on the approach.
- Fast travel tip: Once activated, Momosik Shrine serves as the best fast-travel point for reaching the far eastern Akkala coastline and its caves.
