Puzzle Korok — What to Expect
Puzzle Koroks involve environmental interactions — arranging rocks into patterns, shooting balloons, completing races, matching shapes, or solving block puzzles. These are the most common Korok type in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tips for Puzzle Koroks
- Look for incomplete patterns — a circle of rocks with one missing, or a row of statues facing different directions.
- Use Ultrahand to move blocks, plates, and balls into obvious slots or matching formations.
- For balloon puzzles, equip a bow and shoot all targets before the timer runs out.
- Race-type puzzles start when you touch a glowing marker — head straight for the destination ring.

Locate the Korok
On the Crystal Mines Island platform, use Ultrahand to slide the three stone blocks into the matching recesses on the floor. The correct pattern mirrors the crystal formation on the adjacent wall. Start with the L-shaped block in the northeast corner for the easiest solve order.
