Puzzle Korok — What to Expect
Puzzle Koroks involve environmental interactions — arranging rocks into patterns, shooting balloons, completing races, matching shapes, or solving block puzzles. These are the most common Korok type in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tips for Puzzle Koroks
- Look for incomplete patterns — a circle of rocks with one missing, or a row of statues facing different directions.
- Use Ultrahand to move blocks, plates, and balls into obvious slots or matching formations.
- For balloon puzzles, equip a bow and shoot all targets before the timer runs out.
- Race-type puzzles start when you touch a glowing marker — head straight for the destination ring.
Puzzle Solution
Locate the Korok
Use Ultrahand to stack the three floating crates into a staircase leading to the upper ledge in the Sky Treasure Vault. Place them against the southern wall where the broken rail ends. The Korok sits on the top ledge next to a rusty shield. Pro tip: fuse two crates together first to save time.
Solve the Puzzle
Use Recall on falling blocks to reverse their motion

Collect the Korok Seed. Bring Korok Seeds to Hestu to expand your weapon, shield, and bow inventory slots.
