About This Lightroot
Southern Gerudo Depths beneath the Gerudo Highlands, Atihlak marks a zone where the underground temperature is deceptively cool despite the desert heat above. Ancient Gerudo thermal management systems — aqueduct-like stone channels — once circulated cooler air from mountain caverns into the desert depths. Several channels remain intact, creating pockets of cold air that can catch explorers off guard.
