About This Lightroot
Musanokir is the easternmost Akkala Depths lightroot, corresponding to Rikonasam Shrine near Akkala Citadel on the surface. The ruins here are uniquely military in character — collapsed fortifications, battle-scarred stone ramparts, and partially-intact watchtower foundations suggest an ancient Akkala defensive line once stood at this eastern underground boundary. A White-Maned Lynel (Depths variant, equivalent to Silver tier damage) claims the collapsed fortress interior as its territory and will engage at 60-meter range. The large ore deposit cluster at the fortress base is among the most mineral-rich single locations in the Akkala Depths — diamonds, rubies, and rare amber appear together in the same rock formation. Chain navigation: approach from Duoninat Lightroot to the northwest along the eastern wall of the Akkala Depths. Approaching from the south or center exposes you to the Lynel territory before you reach the lightroot. Armor recommendation: full Depths set plus high-attack fused weapons if engaging the Lynel, or stealth approach via the northern collapsed rampart to avoid it entirely.
