About This Lightroot
Western Faron Depths featuring a cavern ceiling blanketed with bioluminescent fungi that create a false sky of pale blue and green light. The fungi grow in circular patterns following moisture seepage paths, and disturbing a cluster causes the entire network to briefly flare brighter as a defense response. Phantom Ganon patrols the eastern approach corridor between Otayih and Okihsat.

Locate the mirror shrine
Find Hiyato Shrine on the surface map. Otayih Lightroot is located directly below it.

Enter through a nearby chasm
Find the nearest chasm to Hiyato Shrine and jump in. Glide to slow your descent and throw Brightbloom Seeds to light the way.

Navigate to coordinates
Head toward (800, -2500, -530). Use your map marker to track your position.

Activate the lightroot
Interact with Otayih Lightroot to activate it. This illuminates the surrounding Depths map and creates a fast travel point.
