Oyamah Lightroot
About This Lightroot
Oyamah sits beneath the Necluda region near Hateno Village, corresponding to Hamayo Shrine on the surface east of Fort Hateno. This is one of the most beginner-friendly Depths lightroots — enemy density is low, Gloom coverage is minimal, and the terrain is relatively flat. The cavern layout follows the contours of the Necluda hills above, creating a gently rolling underground landscape dotted with Brightbloom Seed growth. A functioning mine cart network connects Oyamah to two adjacent lightroots, providing a quick rail transit option that saves battery and traversal time. Drop through the chasm southeast of Hateno Village to approach this lightroot from directly above. Small Zonaite deposits are plentiful but individually small — optimal for beginner Zonaite collection before tackling larger deposits in more dangerous areas. The accessible layout makes Oyamah an excellent base of operations for first-time Necluda Depths exploration.
