Erabenikat Lightroot (anagram of Takinebare Shrine) sits in the eastern Akkala Depths below the coastal cliffs, in a cavern that once housed a Sheikah observation post monitoring approach routes from the eastern sea. The Sheikah stonework here is distinctive — carved sentry alcoves face the main corridor at regular intervals, and a partially-intact Sheikah Eye symbol has been cut into the chamber ceiling, visible when standing at the lightroot. The outpost appears to have been sealed deliberately: heavy stone doors on the eastern side were pulled shut from within, and the mechanism to reopen them is no longer functional, blocking access to whatever lies beyond. Mining is productive here: the outpost walls contain Luminous Stone veins embedded in the construction material itself, where the Sheikah apparently incorporated glowing minerals into the architecture for low-light navigation. A Poe-rich corridor runs south from the main chamber — a narrow passage that bends east and opens into a secondary cavern with 16-18 scattered Poes across its floor.
