Southern Faron Depths beneath the jungle highlands, Towarun occupies a living cave — a rare underground environment where surface vegetation has penetrated so deeply through natural fissures that root systems from Faron's ancient trees form the ceiling of the lightroot's chamber. The roots hang in dense tangles, some as thick as columns, others as fine as threads, all coated in bioluminescent fungi that pulse faintly in blue-green rhythms independent of Towarun's amber glow. The two light sources create an interference pattern on the cave floor — amber and blue competing and blending in ever-shifting moire across every surface. A Bubbulfrog colony has established in the densest root cluster overhead, their calls echoing oddly through the organic ceiling. Ancient Faron tree resin has dripped from the roots over centuries and hardened into amber pools on the cave floor; several contain preserved prehistoric insects visible under close inspection. Korok Seed opportunities exist where roots have arranged themselves into recognizable patterns.
