Hateno Village Well

About This Location

The communal well at the heart of Hateno Village, deeper than it appears — a drop down the shaft leads to a surprisingly large underground chamber used historically as a flood refuge during Calamity-era evacuations. The well chamber holds a Korok puzzle, a small chest with a Sapphire, and faded murals depicting the Sheikah settlement of Necluda. A passage at the back connects to the Hateno cave system, emerging near the eastern exit road. Climb out using the well crank mechanism or Ascend back to the surface.
