Description

A glowing insect native to the Depths that clusters near Lightroot bases in warm bioluminescent pools. Deep Fireflies emit a sustained glow that briefly extends the Lightroot illumination radius when cooked into an elixir — useful for navigating between widely spaced Lightroots. They are also a neutral potion ingredient that pairs with monster parts for minor healing elixirs. Rare compared to surface insects but farmable at known Lightroot clusters.
