A surprisingly hard toenail from a Hinox — the massive cyclops-like mini-bosses sleeping in fixed locations across Hyrule. Required for several Great Fairy armor upgrades at early and mid tiers. Dropped by Red Hinox variants in Central Hyrule and Akkala. Approach a sleeping Hinox carefully and steal the equipment hanging from its neck before waking it. Hinox fights are straightforward — shoot the eye to stun, then deal heavy melee damage during the stagger window.
