Speak with the stable owner and nearby travelers to gather initial accounts. The descriptions are suspiciously consistent — a robed figure with golden hair, walking calmly as if on a mission.

Investigate the Surrounding Area
Leave the stable and search the surrounding terrain for clues — footprints, discarded items, or witnesses along the road toward Faron. You will find evidence pointing not to the real Zelda but to a Yiga Clan operative in disguise. A trail of Mighty Bananas or a dropped Yiga mask confirms the impersonation is a deliberate ruse.

Track down the Yiga Clan member posing as Zelda and engage in combat. Yiga Footsoldiers typically ambush Link when approached, dropping their disguise and attacking with windcleavers or bows.
