Speak with Reba at the Cape Cales Lighthouse Base

Reba is at the base of the 40-meter lighthouse tower. She has three Zonai Light Emitter components in a pack: the emitter core, the reflector dish, and the rotation gear. The original light mechanism was smashed when an Upheaval tremor toppled the interior mechanism. She's 72 years old and cannot climb the tower with the heavy pack. She asks Link to carry the components to the top and install them; she'll guide by shouting up from below.

Carry Components to the Tower Summit

The lighthouse interior staircase is partially collapsed — one section is a 6-meter gap where the stairs fell. Use Ultrahand to stack fallen debris blocks and create a step across the gap. The components are heavy; carry them in the pack up the remaining spiral stairs to the top platform. The top platform has a clear view of the Akkala Sea and both harbor approaches.

Install the Emitter Core and Reflector Dish

The central mounting post is intact. Place the emitter core into the mounting socket — Reba shouts instructions from below. It clicks in at the right depth. Mount the reflector dish on the arm extending from the post; two pins need to align. Use Ultrahand for fine adjustment. Reba shouts when the angle looks correct from sea level (she's checking against her original installation notes).

Install the Rotation Gear and Test the Light

The rotation gear attaches to the drive shaft below the emitter core. It's the trickiest component — a precise fit requiring 90-degree rotation after insertion. Reba remembers the trick from the original installation: insert, then rotate counterclockwise to lock. Insert the gear and rotate. It locks. The Zonai emitter activates automatically — the lighthouse light blazes to life, rotating with its classic pattern. Reba's cheer from below is audible over the sea wind.

Descend and Receive Reba's Thanks

Descend to Reba. She is visibly moved — the lighthouse was her life's work. She gives Link 12 Brightbloom Seeds from her personal supply, a spare Zonai Light Emitter she found in storage (usable as a permanent placed light source), and her lighthouse chart — a detailed navigation map of Akkala Sea approaches with all known hazards marked that she drew over 40 years of lighthouse service.
