Meet Riju at Gerudo Town

Return to Gerudo Town after completing the Lightning Temple. Riju is addressing the townspeople in the main plaza, explaining that the Gibdo threat has been defeated and that she is working to rebuild what was lost. She pulls Link aside and asks for help with a specific problem: three trade caravans that fled during the Gibdo swarms are now stranded at outposts across the Gerudo Desert and need safe escort back.

Locate the First Stranded Caravan

The first caravan is at Kara Kara Bazaar, the oasis outpost north of Gerudo Town. Speak with the caravan leader who confirms the road back is still dangerous due to lingering Gibdos in the desert. Agree to scout ahead and clear the route. Defeat the two Gibdo nests along the northern road using Riju's lightning and your weapons, then return to guide the caravan safely to town.

Clear the Desert Routes

The second and third caravans are deeper in the desert — one at the Eastern Gerudo Ruins and one near the Gerudo Summit approach. Each route has scattered Gibdo stragglers and collapsed supply stations that need minor repairs using Ultrahand. Use Riju's companion lightning ability to eliminate Gibdos efficiently, as it destroys their outer wrappings in one strike.

Report to Riju and Collect the Reward

After all three caravans return safely to Gerudo Town, report back to Riju at her throne room. She thanks Link formally in front of the assembled Gerudo warriors, acknowledging that his partnership helped save their people. As a sign of Gerudo gratitude, she presents a Gerudo Shield — renowned for its high durability — and 200 Rupees from the town treasury. Town merchants reopen their full inventory.
