Find the First Kohga Encounter (Great Abandoned Central Mine)
After obtaining Autobuild, descend into the Depths through the chasm south of Lookout Landing. Navigate to the Great Abandoned Central Mine, the large illuminated area in the central Depths. Master Kohga appears operating a Zonai-powered battle vehicle. Defeat him by dodging his vehicle charges and attacking when he crashes. He drops Autobuild schematics for his vehicle.

Find the Second Kohga Encounter (Abandoned Gerudo Mine)
Travel to the southwestern Depths beneath the Gerudo Desert region. Kohga has built a more advanced boat-vehicle at the Abandoned Gerudo Mine. This fight takes place on water — build your own boat using nearby Zonai devices (fans and steering sticks) to chase and ram Kohga's vessel. Attack him when his boat stalls. He drops schematics for the boat design.

Find the Third Kohga Encounter (Abandoned Lanayru Mine)
Head to the eastern Depths beneath Lanayru. Kohga pilots a flying machine at the Abandoned Lanayru Mine. Build a flying vehicle using Zonai fans and wings to pursue him in aerial combat. Shoot him with arrows to damage the machine, then attack when he crash-lands. He drops the flying vehicle schematic.

Final Kohga Encounter (Abandoned Hebra Mine)
The fourth and final fight is at the Abandoned Hebra Mine in the northern Depths. Kohga combines all previous vehicle types into an ultimate mech. This multi-phase fight requires dodging ground charges, water attacks, and aerial bombardments. Defeat him definitively to receive the final schematic set. Kohga retreats deeper into the Depths, setting up his role in the endgame.

Each Kohga defeat unlocks powerful Autobuild schematics: a battle car, a combat boat, a flying machine, and an ultimate mech. These schematics can be built anywhere using Autobuild and Zonaite, making them invaluable for Depths exploration and overworld travel.
