Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Find Jerrin at the Lab
Travel to the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab on the northeastern peninsula. Jerrin is inside, maintaining the Blue Flame furnace. She needs Ancient Cores to restart Cherry, the ancient research terminal.
2
Gather Ancient Cores
Collect Ancient Cores from Guardians or Depths treasure chests. Jerrin needs a minimum of five cores to recharge the furnace and bring Cherry back online for full research access.
3
Relight the Blue Flame
Carry a Blue Flame torch from the nearest flame source to the lab furnace. Keep the flame lit through wind and rain — extinguished flames must be relit from the source. Light the furnace to power Cherry.
4
Access Cherry's Research Archive
With the furnace powered, Cherry resumes operations and provides access to pre-Upheaval research notes on ancient weapons, Guardian schematics, and Hyrule's defensive technology history.
5
Complete the Restoration
Jerrin confirms the lab is fully operational. Cherry now offers ancient armor and weapon upgrade services, and Robbie's research connections become available for side investigations across Hyrule.
