The Bargainer Statue Network
Adventure Overview
The Depths is home to a network of Bargainer Statues — stone idols that accept Poes (the ghostly currency of the underground) in exchange for exclusive armor sets and materials unavailable anywhere else in Hyrule. Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
The First Statue
The first Bargainer Statue is in the Central Hyrule Depths, near the Iayus Lightroot. Interact with it to see its catalog — initially limited. More options unlock as you find additional statues.
2
Map the Statue Network
There are seven Bargainer Statues in the Depths, each in a different regional cluster. Their locations roughly correspond to regional Depth hubs: Central, Eldin, Akkala, Hebra, Gerudo, Necluda, and Faron. Each statue's location is roughly below a major surface settlement.
3
Accumulate Poes
Poes are scattered throughout the Depths — blue glowing spirits near Lightroots and along path corridors. Each region has 100–200 Poes. A full Depths run nets approximately 1,000 Poes, resetting with each Blood Moon.
4
Purchase Exclusive Armor
Each statue sells pieces of the Dark Tunic Set (150 Poes each piece), Depths Armor items (150–300 Poes each), and Yiga Armor pieces that can only be obtained here. Prioritize the Dark Tunic set first — it provides Gloom resistance when upgraded.
5
Complete the Collection
Purchasing every item from every Bargainer Statue requires approximately 2,800 Poes total across multiple Blood Moon cycles. The final item unlocked after all purchases is a unique Depths lore item that reveals the Zonai civilization's underground connection.
