Great Fairy Duet
Adventure Overview
After reawakening all four Great Fairies, Cotera discovers an ancient tradition where the Great Fairies would perform a synchronized duet to bless the land during times of crisis. She wants to revive this tradition but needs a musician capable of playing both the fairy harp and the ocarina simultaneously — and only Link, with his experience and the Purah Pad's audio capabilities, is capable. Completing the duet triggers a Hyrule-wide blessing event.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Cotera's Proposal
Visit Cotera at Kakariko after all four fairies are awakened. She explains that the ancient duet requires both fairies and the chosen hero to perform together — the blessing generated purifies Gloom from a wide radius around each fairy fountain simultaneously.

Learn the Ancient Melody
Cotera teaches Link the ancient duet's melody through a series of musical challenges — matching notes played by Cotera's harp on the Purah Pad's audio sensor. The melody has four movements, one representing each fairy.

Gather the Harmony Crystals
The duet requires four Harmony Crystals — ancient Zonai resonance stones that amplify fairy magic. One is at each fairy fountain's hidden stone alcove, unlockable only after the fairy is awakened.

Perform the Duet
With the melody learned and crystals gathered, perform the duet at the central staging point — the ruins of an ancient fairy amphitheater in Hyrule Ridge. All four Great Fairies join via magical projection for the synchronized performance.

The Blessing Event
The completed duet sends a pulse of fairy energy across Hyrule, temporarily purifying Gloom from the surface within 500 meters of each fairy fountain. Each fountain also spawns a bonus chest with fairy upgrade materials.
