Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Find Bolson at the House
Travel to Hateno Village and find Link's old house on the hill. Bolson has moved back in and decorated it with his signature style. He is willing to sell it back to Link for 3,000 Rupees plus additional construction fees.
2
Purchase the House
Pay Bolson the 3,000 Rupee base price. He transfers the deed and clears his belongings. The house is now sparsely furnished and needs significant work.
3
Commission Basic Renovations
Hire Bolson's construction crew to add basic amenities: a proper bed (free sleep), a cooking pot (always lit), and a weapon rack. Each addition costs Rupees and requires materials.
4
Add Specialty Rooms
Commission specialty rooms including a shield display room, a trophy room for monster parts, and a garden for growing cooking ingredients. Each room requires specific materials gathered from across Hyrule.
5
Complete the Full Home
Fully furnishing and upgrading Link's house unlocks it as a fast-travel point and provides the best free sleep bonus in the game (restored to full health, plus temporary maximum heart bonus).
