Restoring the Zora Armor
Adventure Overview
The ancient Zora Armor crafted by Mipha for Link has fallen to disrepair. Yona, the wife of Sage Sidon, knows the secret technique to restore and upgrade it. Gather the rare materials she needs — Lynel Saber Horns, Opal, and Star Fragments — to fully upgrade the Zora Armor set and unlock its set bonus.

Swim Dash set bonus
Yona's lore on Mipha's craftsmanship
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Speak with Yona
Find Yona in Zora's Domain near the throne room area. She reveals that she was trained by an ancient Zora craftsperson and can upgrade the Zora Armor to its full power.
2
Gather Opal
Mine Opal from ore deposits in the Lanayru region, particularly around Zora's Domain and the Zora River. Each upgrade tier requires additional Opal.
3
Defeat Lynels for Saber Horns
Silver Lynels and White-Maned Lynels roam Hyrule's highlands. Their Saber Horns are required for the final upgrade tier. Bring strong weapons and healing food.
4
Find a Star Fragment
Star Fragments fall from the sky on clear nights across Hyrule. Watch the night sky from elevated terrain — they glow as they fall and leave a landing marker. Alternatively, purchase from Beedle at stables.
5
Complete the Full Upgrade
Return all materials to Yona. She performs the upgrade ritual, restoring the Zora Armor to its full glory and activating the swim dash bonus when the full set is worn.
