Strategy Details

Running out of weapons mid-combat is the most dangerous situation in TotK. Prevention strategies: (1) Never enter a dungeon or boss arena without at least 4 combat-ready weapons. (2) Use the weakest weapon for weak enemies and reserve strong weapons for minibosses and elites. (3) Fuse materials to weapons before combat, not during — fusing adds the material's durability to the base weapon. (4) Thrown weapons on their last hit deal double damage and land in a recoverable location — pick them up after combat. (5) Monitor weapons and swap to the next when one flashes red. (6) Rock Octoroks in Eldin repair weapons with a random bonus — maintain a rotation of 5-6 Eldin Octoroks for weekly repairs. (7) Keep two expendable weapons for Depths exploration and two strong weapons for surprises.
