Description
A shield with a massive Molduga lower jaw fused to its face — the curved bone structure creates a formidable bowl-shaped guard that traps and redirects incoming attacks rather than simply absorbing them. Sand-burrowing Moldugas in the Gerudo Desert and Depths sand zones drop their jaw on defeat; trigger the kill by Bomb Flower baiting as they surface. The jaw's serrated teeth cause contact damage on shield bash, dealing sand-grinding chip damage to enemies who attack directly into the face. When used in the Gerudo Desert, the sand-attuned jaw also deflects small Gibdo projectile swarms entirely, making it an efficient choice for the Gerudo Ruins Gibdo dungeon sequence. Pair with the Molduga Fin Sword for a full Gerudo desert combat build with maximum thematic and practical synergy.
