Description
A graceful magical staff topped with a shimmering opal gemstone, carried by water-attuned spellcasters in Lanayru wetlands and Zora River cave shrines. The opal channels water magic, adding a splash component to melee strikes and drenching enemies — which increases their vulnerability to follow-up electric attacks. This makes the Opal Staff an exceptional elemental setup tool: wet enemies take dramatically increased lightning damage from subsequent Shock Sword or Thunder Wand attacks. Fuse a Gleeok Thunder Horn to the Opal Staff for a devastating combined water-then-electric combo that chain-stuns wet targets. Found in Lanayru spring caves and occasionally dropped by Lizalfos near Zora's Domain.
