Twilight Princess
Hyrule is consumed by Twilight, transforming its people into spirits. Link gains the power to transform into a wolf, guided by the mysterious shadow imp Midna. Together they must shatter the Twilight Mirror shards, defeat the usurper Zant, and ultimately face Ganondorf in his most powerful form.
All 8 Dungeons
Twilight Princess has the longest dungeons in the series. Each introduces a unique item required for the boss.
Forest Temple
📍 Faron Woods — transform into wolf to enter
Boss — Diababa: Diababa is a carnivorous plant with two extending necks. Gale Boomerang the Bombaflies into each head to damage them. In phase 2, a third head appears — use Midna's help to hurl Bombaflies directly at the main head from behind.
Goron Mines
📍 Death Mountain — complete Goron sumo wrestling match to gain access
Boss — Fyrus: Fyrus is a fire giant chained at the ankles. Shoot his forehead gem with arrows to stun him. While stunned, grab the chain at his feet and pull to topple him, then attack the gem. Repeat 4 times. In later phases he moves faster — shoot immediately when the gem glows.
Lakebed Temple
📍 Lake Hylia — Zora armor needed to dive to the lake bottom entrance
Boss — Morpheel: Phase 1: Morpheel is a giant eye surrounded by tentacles in a water chamber. Clawshot the eye when it floats near you and slash it. Phase 2: Morpheel becomes a large eel swimming around a pillar. Clawshot onto its back and slash the eye on its neck. Dodge its body-slam charge.
Arbiter's Grounds
📍 Gerudo Desert — requires Ball and Chain from Snowpeak Ruins
Boss — Stallord: Stallord is a massive skeletal boss. Phase 1: Use the Spinner on the rail around the arena to circle Stallord's spine and hit it. Avoid the spinning blade obstacles. Phase 2: Stallord's skull flies — use the Spinner to match its speed on the upper rail and ram it.
Snowpeak Ruins
📍 Snowpeak Mountain — follow the Yeti couple's tracks north of Zora's Domain
Boss — Blizzeta: Blizzeta is a Yeti possessed by a Mirror Shard. Phase 1: Smash the ice pillars she hides behind with the Ball and Chain, then hit her. Phase 2: She creates a ring of ice pillars rotating around her — smash them while they move, then hit her multiple times quickly before the ice reforms.
Temple of Time
📍 Sacred Grove — use Dominion Rod to move giant statues at the entrance
Boss — Armogohma: Armogohma is a giant spider. Use the Dominion Rod to control the archer statue and shoot Armogohma's eye when it glows. She then scatters into spider babies — use spinner or sword to collect the eye (it falls). Phase 2 she climbs the ceiling — shoot her eye with arrows when she descends.
City in the Sky
📍 Entrance in Hyrule Castle Town — use sky cannon to launch up
Boss — Argorok: Argorok is an armored dragon flying above a ring of pillars. Phase 1: Clawshot to the Peahats around the arena and launch to Argorok's back, pulling off his armor piece. Phase 2: He breathes fire pillars — dodge using Double Clawshots to swing between Peahats, then strike his exposed back.
Palace of Twilight
📍 Twilight Realm — accessed via Twilight Mirror
Boss — Zant: Zant has 6 phases using each previous dungeon's mechanic: Goron Mines ceiling, Forest Temple vines, Lakebed Temple water, Snowpeak platform battle, Temple of Time size shift, and final aerial sword duel in Hyrule Castle throne room. Use the appropriate method from each dungeon. Final phase: dodge his spin and counter-attack.
Hidden Skills
Seven sword techniques taught by the Hero's Shade — a golden wolf encountered throughout Hyrule. Find each wolf to learn the skill. They are permanent upgrades that make combat dramatically more effective.
Ending Blow
📍 Wolf appears near Ordon Village after first dungeon
Finish downed enemies with a single plunge strike. Essential for boss efficiency.
Shield Attack
📍 Wolf appears in Hyrule Field (East)
Strike with your shield to stagger enemies and break their guard. Opens them for a combo.

Helm Splitter
📍 Wolf appears in Kakariko Village graveyard
Jump over an enemy while striking their helmet downward. Follows up from Shield Attack naturally.
Mortal Draw
📍 Wolf appears in Gerudo Desert
Drawn-sword lunge attack when sheathed — catches enemies in their attack windup. One-hit kills many enemies.
Jump Strike
📍 Wolf appears at Sacred Grove
Charged jump that hits all enemies in a wide arc on landing. Excellent crowd control.
Great Spin
📍 Wolf appears in Hyrule Castle Town
A full-power Spin Attack that requires full hearts. Enormous range and damage.
