Description

A Hinox corrupted by the Depths' pervasive Gloom, its one eye glazed dark and its body trailing dark energy. Every successful hit it lands drains Link's maximum hearts rather than just current HP. The eye-shot stun mechanic remains valid but recovery windows must be used for healing as well as attacking. Its necklace weapons are Gloom-infused — powerful base stats but they drain hearts when equipped without Gloom resistance. A formidable Depths encounter.

How to Beat Gloom Hinox

A Hinox corrupted by Gloom in the Depths. Every attack it lands drains max hearts. Use the standard eye-stun approach but bring Sundelion meals to restore Gloom hearts between stun windows. Its necklace weapons are Gloom-infused — powerful but drain hearts when used. Consider using Reclaim to safely take necklace weapons without equipping them.
