Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
The Luminous Hinox is a rare crystalline giant found on the slopes of Mount Lanayru and in the deeper reaches of the Lanayru Depths. Its body is studded with glowing luminous deposits that cast an eerie blue-white light across the battlefield. While its enlarged glowing eye is easier to target with arrows, this Hinox variant recovers from eye-shot stuns more quickly than its standard counterparts. Breaking the luminous crystal deposits on its limbs yields bonus Luminous Stones, making it a valuable mining target as well as a formidable combat encounter.

How to Beat Luminous Hinox
A crystalline Hinox variant with luminous deposits across its body. Its eye glows brighter, making it an easier target — but it also recovers from stuns faster. The luminous crystals on its legs and arms can be broken for bonus Luminous Stone drops before finishing the fight. Body slam creates luminous shockwave rings.
