About This Lightroot
Southern Hyrule Ridge Depths near the Gerudo border underground, Otihsoy occupies a dry, wind-polished cavern where the arid Gerudo air infiltrates from the south. The dry conditions have mummified organic material in side alcoves — ancient plant matter and occasional creature remains preserved perfectly. Rare dried-spore fungi grow only in this low-humidity zone, useful for specific elixir recipes.

Locate the mirror shrine
Find Yoshito Shrine on the surface map. Otihsoy Lightroot is located directly below it.

Enter through a nearby chasm
Find the nearest chasm to Yoshito Shrine and jump in. Glide to slow your descent and throw Brightbloom Seeds to light the way.

Navigate to coordinates
Head toward (-1500, 300, -540). Use your map marker to track your position.

Activate the lightroot
Interact with Otihsoy Lightroot to activate it. This illuminates the surrounding Depths map and creates a fast travel point.
