Hyrule Ridge
A transitional highland region west of Central Hyrule, Hyrule Ridge features rolling green hills, ancient garrison ruins, and the iconic Satori Mountain — a cherry-blossom-covered peak sacred to the Lord of the Mountain. The terrain climbs gradually from the Hyrule Field border in the east to the rugged escarpments near the Tabantha Frontier in the west. Rivers and streams cut through the hillsides, creating shallow valleys where Blupees dash at night. The Safula Hill area is one of the richest foraging zones in the game — apples, herbs, mushrooms, and game animals are plentiful. The region connects Central Hyrule to the Tabantha and Hebra regions via the Great Tabantha Bridge, making it a natural travel corridor for players heading northwest. Temperatures are mild year-round, though the western cliffs near Tabantha gain a cold chill. Satori Mountain is spiritually significant in TotK lore — when the Lord of the Mountain appears atop its peak, glowing cherry blossom trees across all of Hyrule light up, marking hidden cave locations.

Visit Satori Mountain at night for a chance to see the Lord of the Mountain — it glows with ethereal blue-green light on the peak.
When the Lord of the Mountain appears, all cherry blossom trees across Hyrule emit a faint glow — this reveals hidden cave entrances nearby.
Tabantha Bridge Stable is the best staging point before heading into Hebra or the Tabantha Frontier.
Safula Hill is one of the best foraging spots in early game — dozens of apples, herbs, and small animals in a compact area.
Register a horse at Serenne Stable — the ridge terrain is excellent for long-distance mounted exploration.
The Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower has one of the best launch trajectories for reaching Central Sky Islands.
Blupee creatures appear on Satori Mountain at night — they drop gems when hit with an arrow.
