Sikodori Lightroot
About This Lightroot
Central Necluda Depths below the coastal approaches, Sikodori stands in a broad underground harbor — a flooded cave chamber where an ancient arm of Necluda Bay pushed inland through porous limestone before the geological uplift that created today's coastline. The water level has receded over millennia to leave behind a perfectly smooth, pale-blue stone floor that retains the tidal groove patterns of its marine origin. The lightroot grows from a natural stone pier formation at the harbor's center, its roots extending into tidal channels now filled with clean freshwater. Zora architectural influence is visible in carved decorative panels along the former waterline — stylized wave motifs, fish reliefs, and navigational star charts incised into the limestone at regular intervals, suggesting the Zora maintained a significant presence here long before their culture retreated to Zora's Domain. A sealed bronze vessel anchored to the pier beside Sikodori bears a Zora royal seal and has not been opened. The smooth floor and clear sightlines make this one of the safer lightroot approaches in Necluda. A Bargainer Statue stands at the former dock entrance, worn smooth by the tidal action of its distant past.
