Josha is a youthful, fearless researcher at Lookout Landing who has made the Depths her personal obsession. Despite being among the youngest researchers on the team, her enthusiasm for descending into the unknown surpasses even the veterans. She works closely with Robbie to catalogue Depths phenomena and coordinates with Link on camera-based reconnaissance missions. Her dogged curiosity about the Gloom's origin eventually leads her toward the Master Sword questline — she connects the sword's disappearance into the Depths with the Gloom spreading from below. Her dialogue evolves significantly as more Lightroots are activated and more Depths mysteries are solved.
