About Sidon

Prince Sidon is the charismatic, impossibly optimistic Zora champion and Sage of Water. Returning from BotW with his signature radiant smile intact, Sidon now faces the greatest crisis of his people — sludge rain corroding Zora's Domain and his father King Dorephan missing after an attack. Despite the weight of these events, Sidon channels his grief into action. His water shield is a single-use barrier that absorbs exactly one hit and then allows Link to release a powerful surge slash that damages everything in front of him. The shield also cleanses sludge on contact, which is vital for traversal across Lanayru. He is also betrothed to Yona, whose presence adds domestic warmth to his otherwise heroic persona. The Water Temple is accessed by ascending through Lanayru's sky vortex on the back of a Sidon water platform — one of TotK's most visually spectacular moments. Post-quest, Sidon resumes his royal duties and appears in wedding preparations with Yona.
