Find the Painting at Outskirt Stable

Outskirt Stable sits west of Hyrule Castle in the Hyrule Ridge area. Inside the stable's common room, a large landscape painting hangs prominently on the wall. The painting depicts rolling hills with a distinctive V-shaped rock formation in the distance, the stable roof in the lower corner, and a circular clearing with a single ancient tree at the center-left. A note beside the painting reads: "Stand where the artist stood and make an offering."

Match the Painted Vista in the Real World

Walk outside and orient yourself to find the angle matching the painting. Face northeast from approximately 80 meters east of the stable — the V-shaped rock lines up in the distant background, the stable roof is visible over your left shoulder, and the circular clearing with the ancient tree sits directly ahead. The exact spot is a slight grassy rise where the terrain elevation matches the painted horizon line.

Offer a Flower at the Ancient Tree

At the confirmed vista point, a weathered stone plinth sits at the base of the ancient tree, barely visible under grass overgrowth. The inscription reads "flower" in Old Hylian. Place any flower item — Silent Princess, Hylian Shroom, or Sundelion all work — in the offering bowl carved into the plinth top. A rumbling confirms activation and the ground near the plinth cracks open.

Enter the Revealed Shrine

The Mayam Shrine emerges from the cracked earth near the ancient tree. Its internal puzzle reflects the painting theme: arranging colored panels to recreate a specific landscape composition in a spatial matching puzzle.
