Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Speak with the Caravan Leader
A Gerudo merchant stands frustrated at the western mouth of Gerudo Canyon, unable to pass with her goods caravan. She explains that the Upheaval caused a series of rockfalls that completely sealed the canyon passage — a route that Gerudo traders have used for generations to travel between the desert and Hyrule Field. She offers a Gerudo Sword as reward if you can clear the path.
2
Assess the Debris Blockages
Walk into the canyon to survey the three major debris piles blocking the route. The first is a loose pile of boulders movable with Ultrahand. The second is a dense wall of cracked rock that requires explosive force — look for Bomb Flowers growing on the canyon walls nearby, or attach a rock to an arrow and hit the cracked sections. The third blockage involves a collapsed archway whose keystone can be repositioned using Ultrahand to stabilize the passage.
3
Clear the Rock Debris
Use Ultrahand to grab and throw the loose boulders from the first pile off the canyon edge below. For the cracked rock wall, fuse a Bomb Flower to an arrow and shoot the marked stress points to detonate and break through. The collapsed archway requires careful Ultrahand positioning — lift the center keystone block and rotate it 90 degrees to fill the gap and create a stable walkway through.
4
Escort the Caravan Through
Once all three blockages are cleared, return to the caravan leader and report the passage is open. A short cutscene shows the wagon rolling through the restored canyon route. She rewards you with a Gerudo Sword — a weapon with high base damage — plus 150 Rupees from the trading profits she anticipates earning. The passage remains open permanently, enabling faster travel between regions.
