Find the Zonai researcher Tatari camped on the western bank of Embodi Lake in Akkala. She has been monitoring unusual energy readings and has found geometric stone formations on the lakebed that match Zonai architectural patterns. She suspects a submerged Zonai structure holds an ancient tablet inscribed with information about the Akkala Zonai settlement. She asks Link to dive in and investigate.

Dive to the Lakebed Formations

Equip the Zora Armor or cook a Swim Speed+ meal to maximize underwater mobility. Dive from the bank near Tatari's camp and swim down to the lakebed — the formations are about 12 meters below the surface, visible as geometric stone rings glowing faintly with Zonai blue. The tablet sits at the center of the largest ring formation, partially buried under silt but clearly intact.

Retrieve the Ancient Tablet

Use Ultrahand while submerged to grab the tablet and pull it free from the silt. The tablet is heavy but Ultrahand's grip remains fully functional underwater. Swim it to the surface and carry it to the shore near Tatari's camp. Do not drop it in deep water — if you lose grip, the tablet sinks back to the formation and must be retrieved again.

Return the Tablet to Tatari

Hand the ancient tablet to Tatari. She immediately begins transcribing the Zonai inscriptions and cross-referencing with her research notes. She identifies it as a mining survey record from the Akkala Zonai occupation — confirming that the Zonai used Embodi Lake as a material transport route. She rewards Link with the tablet replica and shares her translated lore notes with Josha at Lookout Landing for the broader Zonai research archive.
