Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. The Ability to Combine.
2. This Great Sky Island tutorial shrine teaches Fuse, one of the most important abilities in the game.
3. Step 1: Approach the green terminal and receive the Fuse ability from Rauru.
4. Step 2: Ahead is a cracked wall blocking your path.
5. Pick up the rusty claymore on the ground, then hold ZL and select Fuse — target one of the boulders nearby.
6. The boulder fuses to the sword, creating a Rock Claymore with massively increased attack power.
7. Strike the cracked wall twice to shatter it.
8. Step 3: In the second room, a raised cracked wall is too high to reach with melee.
9. Equip your bow, hold ZR to aim, then press Up on the D-pad to select Fuse while aiming — target a boulder to create a Rock Arrow.
10. Fire at the cracked wall to destroy it from range.
11. Step 4: Behind the second wall lies a small enemy Construct — defeat it to practice combat with your fused weapon.
12. The altar is just beyond.
13. Hidden chest: In the first room, before breaking the cracked wall, look to the left alcove.
14. A chest on a raised ledge contains a Construct Bow (5 arrows included).
15. Reach it by fusing a plank to a weapon and using it as a step, or simply climb the ledge.
16. Pro tip: Fuse works with almost any material — experiment with Zonai devices, elemental items, and monster parts for powerful weapon combinations throughout the game.
