Oromau Shrine

Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Oromau Shrine is a Blessing shrine located in eastern Necluda near the Rabella Wetlands.
2. The shrine is visible from the main road, glowing green on a grassy hillock — but a sleeping Hinox has made its nest directly around the shrine entrance, blocking casual access.
3. The Hinox is a Blue variant with approximately 800 HP.
4. Step 2: You do NOT need to fight the Hinox to enter the shrine.
5. The Hinox sleeps deeply and will not awaken unless you make direct physical contact with its body or attack it.
6. Approach from the southern side of the nest (the side farthest from the Hinox's head) and carefully walk around its outstretched arm to reach the shrine entrance.
7. Crouch-walking reduces your noise footprint but is not strictly necessary — just avoid touching the Hinox.
8. Step 3: Enter the shrine and walk directly to the altar.
9. This is a pure Blessing shrine with no puzzle or combat inside — the only challenge was navigating past the Hinox outside.
10. Claim your Light of Blessing.
11. Step 4 (Optional — for the chest): If you want the treasure chest visible near the shrine entrance on a raised platform, you must defeat the Hinox.
12. The chest is in the Hinox's necklace — it drops when the Hinox dies.
13. To fight it: fire an arrow into its eye to stagger it (the eye is on its belly, clearly visible when it stands).
14. While staggered, rush in and deliver a full melee combo.
15. Three eye-stagger cycles defeat the Blue Hinox.
16. The necklace chest typically contains a Knight's Claymore or similar mid-tier weapon.
17. Hidden chest: The necklace chest on the Hinox is technically outside the shrine, but the shrine's internal chest sits to the left of the altar containing a Silver Rupee (worth 100 rupees).
18. Do not skip the interior chest even though the shrine is a simple blessing.
19. Ability needed: No abilities required for the shrine itself.
20. Stealth Armor or a stealth meal helps for sneaking past the Hinox if you want extra safety margin.
21. Pro tip: If you plan to fight the Hinox, cook five Mighty Bananas into a dish for a significant attack boost.
22. Hinox eyes are large targets — even without bullet-time, you can hit them reliably from 20 meters away with a standard bow.
23. The Blue Hinox drops Hinox Teeth and Hinox Guts, both valuable for armor upgrades.
