Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
The Frost Battle Talus is a massive stone golem coated in glacial ice with a wooden Bokoblin fortress strapped to its back. Found in the frozen highlands of Hebra, it combines the raw power of a Stone Talus with the ranged threat of multiple Bokoblin archers. Its ice armor must be melted with fire-element attacks before Link can climb its body to reach the vulnerable ore deposit on top. The Bokoblin riders rain arrows and throw bombs during the climb, making this one of the most chaotic multi-enemy encounters in the game.

How to Beat Frost Battle Talus
A Battle Talus encased in ice armor with a Bokoblin camp on its back. Fire arrows melt the ice patches, exposing climbable rock surfaces. Climb to the ore deposit on top while dodging Bokoblin arrows from the platform. The Bokoblins provide additional drops but also provide covering fire for the Talus.
