About This Lightroot

Kisihayam occupies a spectacular terraced cavern beneath the Lanayru Wetlands, corresponding to Mayahisik Shrine on the surface southeast of Zora's Domain. Underground rivers from the wetlands above have carved the cave into a series of descending stone shelves — six distinct tiers, each 10-12 meters tall — with cascading water connecting them. The tiered layout creates natural elevated platforms perfect for ranged combat and Ultrahand vehicle assembly, since flat stone shelves exist at regular intervals. A camp of 8-10 Blue-and-Silver Lizalfos has established itself on the third and fourth tiers, using the vertical terrain to their advantage with spitting ranged attacks down at approaching players. A Luminous Stone cache in a sealed side chamber on the first tier requires a wall-break (bomb arrow) to access and contains 15-20 Luminous Stones in a single pull. Chain navigation: approach from Nosikuya Lightroot to the northwest via the main Lanayru stone road, then descend the eastern tier system to the lightroot at the cavern base.
