About This Lightroot

Korom sits beneath Hyrule Ridge in the western section of the mid-Depths east-west corridor, corresponding to Morok Shrine on the Ridge surface. This is one of the highest-traffic Depths waypoints because the east-west corridor it anchors connects Central Hyrule to Gerudo and Tabantha Depths efficiently — most players pass through here 20+ times during a full playthrough. The Zonaite mineral veins scattered across the approach corridor are individually small but numerous; a quick sweep while passing through typically yields 8-12 Zonaite with minimal detour. A Stalnox patrols a wide figure-eight path that crosses the main corridor twice — its patrol timing is predictable (approximately 40-second cycle) and easy to time past. A natural Brightbloom garden cluster has taken root in a low-light stone basin 50 meters east, creating an organic light patch that helps navigate the dark stretch between this lightroot and Tukarok to the east. Chain navigation: connects east to Tukarok, south to Sahirow, and west to Rasiwak Lightroot in the Tabantha Depths.
