Spot the Solitary Tree on High Ground
Scan elevated terrain — hilltops, cliffsides, and plateau edges — for a lone tree standing apart from any forest or treeline. These Korok trees are always the tallest object in their immediate area and usually have a slightly golden shimmer visible from a distance. Common locations include the peaks above Dueling Peaks, the cliffs east of Eldin, and the ridge above Trilby Plateau.

Climb to the Very Crown
Approach the tree and begin climbing its trunk. The Korok does NOT appear at the base or mid-trunk — you must reach the topmost branch. If the tree is too slippery or short for direct climbing, use Ascend to phase upward through the trunk from directly beneath it. Stand on the highest reachable branch point and look for the sparkling light cluster that indicates the Korok.

Interact with the Sparkling Light
Once at the tree's crown, press A to interact with the golden sparkle. The Korok pops out with its signature greeting and rewards Link a Korok Seed.
