Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Reach Lomei Labyrinth Island
Lomei Labyrinth Island floats above the northeast Akkala coast. Launch from the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and glide northeast — the island is visible as a massive maze structure suspended on a sky platform. Attach Zonai fans to a raft or use the Akkala Sky Archipelago stepping-stone islands to reach it. Alternatively, use the sky platform's updraft vents at the island's base to paraglide up to the entry level.
2
Solve the Sky Layer
The sky-level maze is the highest layer of this three-tier labyrinth. Navigate the elevated walls where Zonai Constructs patrol. Unlike the surface-level Lomei labyrinths, this sky maze has multiple vertical drops to lower tiers — avoid falling to the wrong level. The sky layer's center contains a floor hatch to the surface level and a clue tablet describing the tripartite nature of the maze and the warrior's headpiece hidden within.
3
Complete the Surface and Depths Layers
Drop to the surface-level labyrinth and navigate to its center, following the same right-hand-rule approach that works for the other Lomei mazes. The surface layer is partially collapsed in places — use Ascend to pass through rubble sections. Once at the surface center, drop into the Depths chasm for the final layer. The Depths maze here is the most Gloom-dense of the three labyrinths; prioritize clearing the main corridor before exploring side paths.
4
Claim the Barbarian Helm and Shrine
At the center of the Depths labyrinth, claim the Barbarian Helm from the stone chest — the final piece of the Barbarian Armor set. With all three pieces (Helm, Armor, Leg Guards) equipped and upgraded, the set bonus activates: a significant attack power increase that makes all melee weapons hit harder. The adjacent Mayaumekis Shrine provides a Light of Blessing. Fast-travel from here is the quickest access to this remote island going forward.
