Quest Overview

After collecting all 12 Dragon's Tears with Impa and witnessing the secret memories, a Rito sage encourages Link to revisit each geoglyph site in sequence as a ritual pilgrimage. Standing at each site and meditating — waiting at the center while the sun moves overhead — triggers a faint echo of the original memory. Completing all 12 pilgrimage meditations unlocks a hidden 13th vision that provides additional backstory about Rauru's final decision before the Imprisoning War.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Initiate the Pilgrimage

After collecting all 12 Dragon's Tears geoglyphs with Impa, a Rito sage at Rito Village describes an ancient Zonai pilgrim tradition: revisiting each geoglyph site in sequence while meditating at the center. He marks all 12 geoglyph coordinates on your Purah Pad map and explains that standing at each site center during the appropriate time of day triggers an echo of the original memory.

2

Visit All 12 Geoglyphs in Sequence

Travel to each geoglyph in the order they appear on the official Dragon's Tear memory sequence. At each one, walk to the exact center of the teardrop pattern and wait for three in-game minutes (approximately 30 real seconds). A faint shimmer of light indicates the meditation has registered. The sequence spans all major regions of Hyrule.

3

The Faint Echo Effect

At each geoglyph center, a soft audio echo plays — a fragment of the original memory's dialogue in Zonai. These are different from the full Dragon's Tear memories and provide new context: Rauru's private doubts before the Imprisoning War, Sonia's last words to her husband, and Zelda's final moment before transformation. Twelve brief echoes, one per site.

4

Unlock the Hidden 13th Vision

After completing all 12 meditations, return to the Rito sage. He directs you to a 13th location — an unmarked geoglyph hidden beneath Lake Hylia's surface, only visible when standing above it on the bridge at dawn. Meditating here triggers the 13th vision: Rauru's final decision to sacrifice himself to seal Ganondorf. He rewards Link with a rare spirit material and a new paraglider fabric.
