Speak with Riju About the Water Crisis

After the Lightning Temple, Riju acknowledges that the water channels beneath Gerudo Town were damaged when Gibdos burrowed through the underground. Three aqueduct junctions are cracked and leaking, leaving the town fountain dry. The channels run beneath the town through accessible maintenance tunnels — Link can reach them with ease.

Find the Three Broken Junctions

Enter the maintenance tunnels through a trapdoor near the south market stall. The passages form a loop beneath the town. Each broken junction is visible: water sprays from hairline cracks in the stone channel walls. All three are within 100 meters of the entrance — the tunnels are not labyrinthine.

Repair Each Junction with Ultrahand

Flat stone fragments lie near each broken junction — they were knocked loose by Gibdo burrowing. Use Ultrahand to lift each fragment and press it firmly against the crack. The game indicates a seal when the water spray stops and the stone darkens. All three must be sealed before water pressure in the system is restored.

Watch the Fountain Refill

Once all three junctions are repaired, return to the town surface. The central fountain springs back to life in a cascade of clear water. Riju hosts a brief ceremony as residents emerge from the shelter. She rewards Link with materials for Gerudo outfit upgrades (Topaz, Gibdo Bones) and full access to the restored market.
