Quest Overview
Mayor Reede is in a quiet panic — his prize pumpkin patch, the source of Hateno Village's annual harvest festival centerpiece, has been devastated by a new fungal blight. He asks Link to travel to a farm botanist in Kakariko Village who knows how to treat the blight and return with the treatment compound before the festival. The botanist requires a rare ingredient only found on the Necluda cliffs.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Speak with Mayor Reede
Mayor Reede meets Link outside his pumpkin patch with a look of barely concealed despair. A grey fungal blight has spread across half the pumpkins. Without the centerpiece crop, the harvest festival loses its centerpiece display. He's heard of a botanist at Kakariko Village who knows the treatment but refuses to travel himself — too proud to ask for help publicly.
2
Travel to the Kakariko Botanist
Find the botanist Paya near the Kakariko Village herb gardens. She knows the treatment compound but needs a rare Necluda Cliffbloom — a flower that grows only on the exposed limestone faces of the Necluda canyon walls. She gives Link a container for the flowers and a map of the best picking spots.
3
Collect Necluda Cliffbloom
Travel to the marked canyon wall positions in east Necluda. The Cliffbloom grows in clusters on sheer vertical faces — climb or glide to each cluster and harvest three flowers. Each collection point is guarded by a Lizalfos or Keese nest. Return to Paya with the flowers.
4
Deliver the Treatment to Reede
Paya prepares the compound and sends Link back to Hateno Village with it. Apply it to the pumpkin patch by using it on the blighted plants (prompted action). The blight recedes within in-game hours. Reede rewards Link with Rupees, a set of high-quality cooking pumpkins, and a permanent discount at the Hateno village shops.
