Quest Overview
Visit any of the Goddess Statues scattered across Hyrule's surface, Sky Islands, and Depths to exchange accumulated Lights of Blessing — earned by completing shrines — for Heart Containers or Stamina Vessels. Four Lights of Blessing equal one upgrade. Plan your build carefully: more hearts for survivability, more stamina for climbing and gliding.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Earn Lights of Blessing by Completing Shrines
Every shrine rewards one Light of Blessing on completion. There are 152 shrines across the surface, Sky Islands, and Depths. Four Lights of Blessing are exchanged at any Goddess Statue for a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel. The Horned Statue in Lookout Landing can swap them later for 20 Rupees per exchange.
2
Locate the Nearest Goddess Statue
Goddess Statues appear in villages and key locations — the earliest accessible one is in the Temple of Time on the Great Sky Island. Surface statues are found at Lookout Landing, Kakariko Village, Zora's Domain, Goron City, Rito Village, Gerudo Town, and many more. A statue icon marks the map once the area is discovered.
3
Choose Hearts vs Stamina Based on Your Build
Early game: prioritize stamina for climbing and gliding. After 1.5-2 wheels, shift to hearts for survivability. To get the Master Sword, you need 2 full stamina wheels. Late game: balance both based on playstyle — combat builds need hearts, exploration builds need stamina.
4
Track Progress and Spend Wisely
The Lights of Blessing counter resets to 0 after each exchange of 4. With all 152 shrines complete, you earn 38 total upgrades. Shrines in labyrinths, sky islands, and Depths count equally to surface shrines — prioritize those locations for both the Light of Blessing and the regional content.
